What location do you service?
Currently, we are doing our pick up and delivery service in the Liverpool and Macarthur region. But, we do go further if nearby. Check if we service your suburb on our booking page.
How much is your pick-up laundry service?
Pick-up and delivery are FREE. We charge $6 per kilo with a minimum order of 10 kilos or $60.
What to expect in my first pick-up laundry service?
We take the dirty work out of your hands, but we draw the line at cleaning out your pockets.
Please empty out the pockets before giving your laundry to us. We are not responsible for lost items or damages caused by objects left in pockets, such as tissue, piece of paper, lip balms, crayons, gums, markers, pens, lipstick, etc.
Then bag your dirty laundry. Separate clothes that need extra attention, and make sure to add instructions.
Our drivers will arrive in a timely fashion, so be ready with your laundry separated and pockets emptied of anything that could cause some serious sudsy trouble.
Sit back, relax, or enjoy your precious time with your loved ones.
We’ll keep you in the loop with delivery updates, so you can be reunited with your fresh, clean clothes ASAP!
What do I use to put my dirty laundry?
Trash bags and bin liners work great.
Can I use my own hangars?
Yes, of course.
When will my order be returned?
We’ll have your laundry fresh and clean after 24 or 48 hours.
Do you wash my clothes with other people’s clothes?
No, we don’t. We wash each order separately.
Do I sort my clothes?
No! Leave it to us. Just sit back and relax.
Do you (Art Of Laundry) check pockets?
We wash many kilos of clothes a day and are unable to check pockets for pens, crayons, tissue, etc. Please empty the pockets before giving the laundry to us. We (Art Of Laundry) are not responsible for missing items or damages caused by items left in pockets.
Do you read label instructions?
No, we do not. But we do suggest if you have hand wash items or air dry items, please leave them in a separate bag with instructions.
Can you do stain removal?
Absolutely! We provide a light stain removal service, so please segregate all stained garments into a separate bag and inform us via a note in the bag. We will make every effort to eliminate the stains, but please note that the optimal treatment method varies depending on the fabric and the nature of the stain. While we usually succeed in removing stains, we cannot guarantee that we will always be successful. Pre-treating the stains before placing the clothing in the bag will enhance the likelihood of success. If you CANNOT separate the stained clothes, we can still inspect each item and pre-treat all stains for an extra cost of $1 per kilo.
How do I give special instructions?
You can simply leave a note in the bag. Make sure it’s a big piece of paper, though, as little ones can be hard to miss, like a stick it paper, for example. Or add a note during the booking process.
Can I send my underwear and bras?
It is laundry. We are professionals here. But, if you want to keep it private and want it washed, send them in your mesh bag, and we’ll wash and dry it and send it back to you inside your mesh bag.
Where should my clothes be for pick up and delivery?
It’s important that you choose a secure and safe spot for your pickup and drop-off where you’re at ease leaving your personal items. Although this can vary from person to person, common locations for customers include their front door, porch, or a gated area that is secure. Please be aware that our drivers cannot enter privately owned spaces or residences, such as your home, apartment, car, garage, and so forth.
Oops, I forgot to leave my dirty laundry out for pick up?
We understand that sometimes things can slip our minds. While we do send email and text reminders to help prevent this from happening, we know that life can get in the way. To cover the driver’s time, a missed pick-up fee of $12.50 will be charged. If you wish to reschedule the pickup, it can be arranged for the following week on your regular route day.
Do you do dry cleaning services?
No, we do not offer dry cleaning.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, there is a $60 minimum per order.
What if my credit card gets declined?
You can call, email, or text us to update your payment info. Once the payment goes through, we’ll deliver your clothes within 24 hours.
Do I weigh my laundry before giving it to you?
No, we do that after drying your laundry. But, if you want to estimate your cost, you can weigh yourself with the laundry and without.
What detergents do you use?
We normally use Tide as our detergent. But if you have a specific detergent in mind, such as a fragrance-free, for sensitive skin, or environmentally friendly, please tell us, and we’ll do our best to cater to it. You can also send in your own detergent.
What items do you not clean?
We don’t do these:
Curtains
Sofa covers
Rugs (bath rugs are the exception)
Sleeping bags
Wedding dresses
Vintage clothes (in some cases)
Costumes
Hats/Headwear
Shoes
Fur & Animal products (feathers, fur coats)
Purses/handbags
My pet sheds hair or peed on my items, will you do them too?
Yes, we can. Although this adds more resources to our process. Therefore we add an additional cost of 0.50 cents per kilo.
Where will you put the hanging items if I’m not at home?
If you can provide a wreath hanger for the front door, then we can hang them there. If you don’t have a wreath hanger or something similar, you can leave a chair out, and we’ll carefully place it there. Otherwise, we’ll drape them on your folded and bagged clothes. Don’t worry; both folded clothes and hung clothing are in a plastic garment bag.
Do you iron?
Sorry, we do not iron.
What is the average weekly laundry order?
For a family of 4-5, an average is approximately 18-20 kilograms per week… if you’d like an estimate before we pick up your laundry, simply place your hamper on your home scale. We will weigh your order with our Trade Certified Scale once we receive your order, and you will be emailed a detailed receipt upon order completion.
How do I schedule a pick-up?
It’s as easy as pie! Just visit our website and click on booking. We’ll ask for some basic information like your address and preferred pickup time, and voila! You’re on your way to laundry bliss. Alternatively, you can use our app and schedule a pickup. It’s available for Android and Apple. You can find the download link after creating your account.
Is your service expensive?
We believe that clean clothes shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg (or a shirt and a sock). Our prices are competitive with other laundry services in the area. Don’t take my word for it; just google other pick-up wash and fold laundry services. Also, we offer discounts and reward points for frequent customers. Plus, think of all the time you’ll save not doing laundry yourself – time is money, after all.
What if I have a problem with my laundry order?
